It did fine (connected the Emu drive to the PC) BUT it only translated the sounds (wave files) but not the programs. I tried using Translator in order to copy AKAI CDs into the Emu Harddrive. I found that this does not work well, maybe due to the CDROM being old and cannot read CDs very well (although it did when it was connected in my PC - You can browse folders and banks, but loading banks either gives an error message or doesn't load the sounds). I got an E-mu E6400 Ultra to which I connected an internal old Yamaha SCSI CDROM, in order to download AKAI CDs into it.
